POTATO MASALA


Urulai kizhangu masala ( Perumal's recipe ) we had a servant who was an excellent cook.....this is one of his recipe.

Potatoes 4/ onions 2 / Grenn chillies 2 or to your taste/ Garlic Ginger paste accordingly / Tomatoes cut /
In oil add little kadugu/uluthamparupu/ once browned add the cut onions / green chillies/gg paste/ tomatoes....ellaam fry pannunga nallaa/ to this add sambar podi 1/2 to one tsp of it/ add 1/2 cup water let it boil till the water sort of evaporates ( not too dry ) add salt
ithukulla sambar podi pachai vaasanai poidum...now add the boiled cut potatoes & stir fry till its well coated with the masala....

omg kugan nga....ithu romba nalla irukum...with rasam or thayir sadam or even verum saathathila mix panni saapitaaa aahaaa ahaaa thaan..... Mr. Green
