PULI VADAI

Appada, Suvai saved me from going to the jungle

This vadai is little like the vadai we do for Ajaneyar. Of course the taste is very different. This is a crispy vadai.
Very very tasty . You can fry and keep for days.

Here is the recipe from our Suvai

half padi saapaatu rice nalla kazhuvi sutham seithu enough thayiril 3 mani neram oora vaikavum...next water vidaamal thayir ootriye naisaaga aata vendum ( aaatu kallil ) hahahahaha...this is an old recipe for sure.aatum bothu arisiyudan vara milagaai, salt sirithu alavu puLi serka vendum. In oil add kadugu...kadalai parupu....uluntham paruppu....karuvepilai...kothamalli thazhai pottu nalla vathakanum....vathangiyapin araithu vaithu irukum arisi maavai athil kotti...kozhukattaiku ketiyaaga vathakuvathu pola vathaka vendum. U take it down from the heat & then siru vadaigalaaga ilaiyil or polythene bag la thatti...yennaiyil porithu edukanum....this will stay for 10 days & sooda saapitaa miga rusiyaaga irukum ...

apadinu pottu iruku....naan senjathilai.....venumnaa konjamaa try panni paaruma kugan ....but this seems like a lot of work...paarthu seiyavum...sareeyaa...oreyyyy puliyaaga iruka poguthu...hahahaha thyirley oori puli vera serthu...but i think the red chillies...karuvepilai & kothamalli & all the thaalippu will make it taste good..
