SPECIAL KURUMA
Garlic Ginger paste. - 3/4th Tblspn each or 1 TBlspn each if u like the vaasanai more.
Cinnamon - 1" piece
cloves - 2
chinna vengayam sliced - 1 kai alavu
tomatoes - 2 if big / 4 to 5 if small chopped
Dhania (vara kothamalli ) - according to yr taste
Vara milagaai (red chillies) - according to yr taste
2:1 proportion.
vegies like potato - 2 /peas - 1/2 cup /butterbeans lotssss Mr. Green carrot 1, beans -5 /ellaam cut panni boil panni seperate ah vachikonga. ellaam serthu oru kai alavu irukalaam...keep the water aside u can use it later.
Coconut & kasa kasa araithu vaikavum about 1 handful of coconut & 1 to 1 1/2 Tblspn kasa kasa
In Oil/Ghee add cinnamon/cloves & onions & fry for a while then add tomatoes konjam neraiya iruntha nalla irukum...fry till the water sort of evaporates (surundu varanum) apo add the garlic ginger paste & fry for a few seconds...now add the boiled vegies & its water...add turmeric & allow it to boil for about 5 to 10 mins till dhania pachai vaasanai poganum...... now add the ground coconut kasa kasa mixture & stir well add salt....allow it to boil for another 5 to 7 mins......add kothamalli......& karuvepilai.....ipo kurma thick ah irukum u can switch off the stove.
iraki vaithu taste panni paarunga....the following are optional
u can add lemon juice to it.... athu oru taste...
u can add thayir....after the last boil....& stir & allow it to boil for another 3 mins not more.....ithu Moremasala aagidum Wink
This will go well with rice/chapathi/naan/any bread.....romba rusiya irukum intha kurma...try panni paarunga
