Here is a quick recipe...
Paruppu Podi in Less than 5 minutes
Ingredients:
Chick peas - 4 tbs
Red chillie powder - 1/2 tbs
Asafoetida
Salt - Depends upon the taste
Method:
In a mixer grinder, add all the above ingredients and grind well.
Paruppu podi is ready.
Well you can add garlic also to bring out that andhra feel.
