SIMPLE TOMATO CURRY
Ingredients:
2 big tomatoes chop fine
1 big onion chopped fine
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
2 tsp chillie powder
½ tsp garam masala powder
1 cup coconut milk or low fat milk
Little coriander leaves chopped
Salt to taste
1 tsp oil
Method:
Heat oil in a wok, add in the chopped onions.
Sauté well, add in the ginger and garlic paste.
Sauté till the raw smell goes.
Now add in the chopped tomatoes and salt.
Stir and cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add in the chillie powder and garam masala powder.
Stir and cook till the tomatoes are mushy, and oil separates.
Add in the thick milk, simmer for 5 minutes.
Once the gravy is thick, remove and garnish with
cut coriander leaves.
A quick curry for dosais and idlis.
