MURUNKKAI KAAI SUBJI

Now is the drumstick season I believe.
Every one is giving us drumsticks.
This is a simple recipe, try and see.


MURUNKKAI KAAI SUBJI

Ingredients:

2 cups of drumsticks cut into 1 ½ inches in length
½ cup chopped tomatoes
½ cup chopped onions
1 ½ tbs red chillie powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Method:
Clean and cut young drumsticks.
Heat oil in a wok, add in the cumin seeds.
When they splutter, add in the onions.
Sauté until golden brown.
Now add in the tomatoes and sauté for about 2 minutes.

Add in the cut drumsticks, mix well.
Add in the chillie powder and salt.
Sprinkle little water and cook on medium heat.
Cook till the oil seperates.
Remove and serve with rice.
