BEANS SPROUTS FITTERS

Ingredients:

200 grms self raising flour
1 green chillie thinly sliced
¼ tsp chillie powder
1 onion thinly sliced
3 small chives cut into 1 inch strips
2 tbs cooked corn kernels
2 tbs of beans sprouts
Salt to taste
Water to make into a batter
Oil

Method:
Mix flour, salt, chillie powder and water and combine until the texture is smooth.
The texture should be thick and not watery.
Now add in the green chillie, onions, chives, corn kernels and beans sprouts. Combine well.
Heat a wok with cooking oil. When the oil is heated properly,
Scoop the batter in your hands and drop it into the oil.
Fry until they reach a golden brown colour.
Remove it to a plate covered with a kitchen roll.
Serve it with chillie or tomato sauce.


NOV says:
we dont make anythng so complicated. Just mix taugeh (bean sprouts) with white flour, sliced onions, sliced chilly and a little salt. Add water to make it lumpy. Spoon and deep fry. Thats all.

Can be eaten on its own or with rice with saambaar or rasam.
