DIAMOND BISCUITS



Ingredients:

1 cup all purpose flour
3 tbs sugar
¼ tsp salt
2 tsps of ghee or oil
½ cup of warm water ( use only as much as needed)
A tiny pinch of cooking soda (optional)
Oil for frying

Method:

Mix the flour, salt, sugar and ghee.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Now add the water slowly and knead it into
a not so soft dough.

Roll out the dough to a circle. Not very thin.
Make a vertical cut first, and then a horizontal cut.
This forms diamond shapes.
(I have cut them small, you can cut how big you want.)
Now deep fry them in oil. You get crisp biscuits.
When cool, store them in air tight containers.
