I have one side dip for both of urs puliodarai recipe.Plz do give a try once wen u make pulisadam for the next time.
Porikadalai Thuvaiyal
Required Items:
Porikadalai(pottu kadalai) : 1 handful
Garlic: 2pips
Green chillie: 2 to 3
Salt
Method:
Put all above mentioned items in small mixer jar.
Make it into a fine powder without adding any water
once wen it is done, now change the powder into sauce bowl.
Now u can taste for salt and spice
Sprinkle little water once or twice and try to form a round shape (As like how u will make chapatti dough)
Now the thuvaiyal is ready.
Note: Since we are powdering it without adding any water. The taste of the thuvaiyal will be exactly the same as like the thuvayal grinded in our tradional Ammi kal.
It goes well with puliyodarai.My mom used to make this for puliyodarai(puliyogra,puli sadam)
U can have this for curd rice also as side dip. It suits well for that also.
Normally in our side in order to break the fasting, people used to make raw rice pongal and this thuvaiyal
