SPICY SOYA CURRY

SPICY SOYA CURRY

Ingredients:

1 cup of small soya balls
2 pips of garlic smashed
1 small piece cinnamon stick
2 cardamom pods
2 cloves

¼ cup of green peas
¼ tsp of coarse aniseed powder

To Grind:
2 tomatoes
3 tbs scrapped coconut
2 onions
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tbs black pepper
1 tbs chillie powder
1 tbs coriander powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder

Salt to taste
2 tbs oil

Method:
Boil the soya balls with the garlic, cinnamon stick, cloves
cardamom pods and little salt. (This gives a good smell)
When boiled well, remove and squeeze the water completely.
Keep aside.

Heat 2 tbs of oil in a wok, add in the ground paste.
Stir and cook till oil separates.
Add in the cooked soya balls and salt.
Add ¼ cup of water and let it come to a boil.
Add in the green peas and cook further for about 10 minutes.
The gravy will be a bit thickish.
Add in the aniseed powder and remove.
Goes well with rotis.
