SAMPLE MENU PLANS

Day 1
Breakfast: idly with various chutneys and saambaar. curry puffs
Lunch: Ghee rice. Mutton Dalcha/Varuval, 3 kinds of vegetables
Tea: Ravaa puttu / Pancake
Dinner: Naan / Batura

Day 2
Breakfast: thosai with various chutneys and saambaar. vadai
Lunch: (Malaysian style) Butter Rice, Chicken with red sauce (ayam masak merah), 3 kinds of vegetables
Tea: Chocolate cake, Sardine sandwiches
Dinner: Mee Goreng

Day 3
Breakfast: pongal/uppumaa, paniyaaram
Lunch: (Chinese style) Fried rice, Fried Chicken, 3 kinds of vegetables
Tea: Banana fritters or Cokodok, Boli
Dinner: Pizza, Rawa Thosai

Day 4
Breakfast: aappam with chutney/coconut milk. samosa
Lunch: (Thai style) Rice, with tom yam, 3 kinds of vegetables
Tea: Carrot Halwa, Pakora
Dinner: Parotta

All the above are easy to make, and you can gather the recipes from Kugan's kitchen


PLAN : 2

BF menus:
1. pongal with mint chutney and puli gojju,sarkkarai pongal, sambar vadai .

2.egg dosai/ Masala dosai/onion dosai, rava kitchadi, coconut chutney, coriander chutney,kara chutney and chinagrass sweet(very easy to make- Kugan has posted few recipes in the other threads) or can make rasmalai from tinned rasgullas.

3. kuzhi paniyaram , veggie oothappam, onion chutney,tomato chutney, curd semiya with pickle, gulab jamun/poosani halwa. You can also add bread bajji with sauce if u wish to.

Dinnerku u can try some pizza, pasta, noodles stuffs...

Other options- Mrs.Mano has posted some chicken dosai varieties. U can try it with some light sides. Actually they taste very yummy as such without any side dish.

Fried rice with cauliflower/babycorn/ chicken manchurian;
pulavs with chicken curry/ pepper chicken/mushroom curry ellam nalla combos.

You can make other easy sweets like cashew burfi, badam burfi, coconut burfi(using desiccated coconut), MW milk burfis, choc-milk burfi in advance.


Lunch1-traditional S.I lunch with sambar,poondu kulambu, rasam, poriyal, aviyal,kootu,appalam,payasam.

Lunch 2- non veg meal- rice,fish curry, chicken curry(semi-dry), egg masala,curd, salad. Rasam optional.

Lunch 3- Chicken/mushroom/veg biriyani, raita, plain kurma, rice , vatha kuzhambu, rasam and veg, curd.

Lunch 4: Pulav/kuska rice, tandoori paneer-capiscum-onion-tomato/kadhai veg, butter chicken, chilly fish, curd rice with pickle,pappad, Carrot Kheer.

Lunchku u can make payasams- paal payasam, semiya payasam, rava payasam, aval payasam. Carrot kheerum seiyalaam.
