CHILLI POTATO


Ingredients:
(A)
3 medium potatoes cut into wedges.
1 tbs rice flour
1 tbs corn flour
2 tbs all purpose flour
Little salt
Little orange colour
Oil for frying

1 tbs oil
½ tsp ginger paste
½ tsp garlic paste
2 medium onions cut into strips
1 capsicum cut into strips
½ a cup of water
1 tsp chillie sauce
1 tsp green sauce (optional )
2 tsp tomato sauce
½ tsp soy sauce
½ tsp vinegar
½ tsp black pepper powder
1 tsp corn flour mixed with 2 tbs water
Salt to taste
½ tsp honey
Chopped scallions for garnishing

Method:
Clean and cut the potatoes. Make a batter with the ingredients in (A).
Heat the oil in a pan, dip the potatoes and coat well.
Deep fry and keep aside.

Heat the 1 tbs oil in a wok, add in the ginger and garlic paste.
Sauté for a minute, add in the sliced onions, sauté well again.
When the onions turn pink a bit, add in the capsicum
and sauté fror about 2 minutes.

Now add in ½ a cup of water, add salt, black pepper, soy sauce,
green chillie sauce, chillie sauce, tomato sauce, and vinegar.

Mix well, now dilute the corn flour in the water.
Add it to the sauce and stir well.
Now add in the fried potatoes and toss well.
Add honey and garnish with the scallions.
Remove and serve hot.
