CHEESY RAVIOLI IN TOMATO SAUCE

Ingredients:

1 packet of cheesy ravioli

2 tbs butter or olive oil
½ cup onion chopped
3 pips of garlic minced
2 cups of chopped tomatoes, or tinned tomatoes
1 ½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp pepper powder
¼ tsp red chillie powder
Salt to taste
¼ cup whipping cream
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Method:
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to boil.
Cook the ravioli in salted water for about 2 minutes, after they begin to float.
Remove and keep aside.

Heat the butter in a wok, over medium heat.
Add in the onions and garlic and cook till tender and brown.
Add in the tomatoes, basil, pepper powder , chillie powder and salt.
Cook on low heat stirring occasionally, till the tomatoes are mushy.

Stir in the whipping cream and parmesan cheese.
Cook until mixture just comes to boil.
Reduce heat to very low and stir in the cooked ravioli
Cook for another minute or so until thoroughly heated.
Remove and serve with a little grated parmesan.
