Priya a simple carrot halwa recipe by my aunt.


CARROT HALWA

Ingredients:

2 cups of grated carrots
1/2 cup ghee
1 cup fresh milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbs chopped roasted cashew nuts.

Method:

In a non-stick pan, add the grated carrots and the ghee.
Saute the carrots till the raw smell goes.
Now add in both the milks and cook till all the milk is almost absorbed.
Now add in the sugar and cardamom powder, keep stirring.

cook till it comes to a mass.
Now garnish with the roasted cashew nuts and remove.
Serve warm or cold.
