EGGLESS PLAIN BUTTER CAKE

Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour
2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
1 cup fine sugar
½ cup melted butter
3/4 cup evaporated milk (little more if needed)
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp butter emulsion if available
1 tsp vinegar

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180 degress C
Grease a cake tin with parchment paper

Sieve the flour with the baking powder twice.
Mix the sugar with the flour and salt.

Add in the milk, butter emulsion, melted butter mix well.
Add in the vanilla essence and mix well.
Lastly add in the vinegar and mix well.

The mixture should be of pouring consistency.
Add more milk if needed.
Bake the cake for about 40 minutes or till cooked.
Pierce a tooth pick at centre of the cake.
If it comes out clean, the cake is cooked.

Remove and cool. You can slice the cake when it is
completely cooled
