CHOLA PORI / POP CORN
Here is a healthy snack.
CHOLA PORI
Ingredients:
1/3 cup pop corn kernels
3 tbs canola oil
1 tbs of butter
Salt to taste
Method:
Take a 3 quart saucepan with a cover.
Add in the oil, butter and salt.
Heat the sauce pan on medium heat.
Now remove the sauce pan and add the corn
kernels in an even layer.
Return the pan to the heat.
The pop corn should begin popping soon.
Once the popping starts, gently shake the pan by
moving it back and forth over the burner.
Try to keep the lid slightly ajar to let the steam from the
pop corn to release.
Once the popping slows to several seconds between pops,
remove the pan from the heat.
Remove the lid and pour the pop corn into a big bowl.
Sprinkle some pepper powder on it for added aroma.
You can even make caramelized pop corn
for the children
