VALAKAI SKIN PORIYAL

VAALAKKAI SKIN PORIYAL


Ingredients:
2 cups of the boiled vaalakkai skin. (cut into strips)
1 onion medium onion sliced
1green chillie sliced
1 dry red chillie sliced
little ginger minced
1 sprig of curry leaves.
2 tbs grated coconut
little cut coriander leaves

1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
1 tsp oil
salt to taste.

Method:

Heat oil in a wok, add in the mustard seeds and urad dal seeds.
When they pop, add in the onions and saute well.
Now add in the sliced chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
stir well, add in the cut vaalakkai skin and stir well once.
add little salt if needed
Now add in the scrapped coconut, mix well and remove.
Garnish with the cut coriander and serve as side dish.
